Aberaeron Comprehensive School is a friendly, vibrant and naturally bilingual school which reflects the ethos and culture of the local area. The school is situated in the town of Aberaeron in Ceredigion and has 600 pupils.
We were appointed by the school to provide fitted and loose furniture for two science labs which were dated and in need of refurbishment. In addition to our own Vector fitted units and teaching walls, we also supplied lab stools, draughtsmen chairs, fume cupboards, sinks, taps, gas taps and electrics.
As we design and manufacture Vector fitted furniture ourselves in South Wales, we were able to design an additional side panel on the teacher’s demo desk so that gas pipes could run through. The design also featured curved workstations, student workbenches with integrated bag storage and bespoke teaching walls which were made to measure ensuring the completed installation fully met our customers’ requirements and expectations.
